Apple At It Again
In the now length legal battle between Apple and Psystar, there's been a fair bit of back and forth. I personally do feel that Apple's Mac OS X license does constitute product tying, but I'm hardly in a position to affect that decision.
However, Apple has really gone off the deep end now. As part of Apple's ongoing accusations of Psystar, they now claim that copying a program into RAM constitutes an illegal copy. Think about that for a second. The mere fact of running a program loads a copy of that program into memory. And Apple is suggesting that this is an illegal act. So by merely booting Mac OS X, this constitutes an illegal act by you, the user.
There's obviously more to it - the "RAM" in question is a RAM drive, but as far as I can tell, Apple's hasn't claimed the use of the drive as being the point of illegal action, but the act of loading into RAM.
Either those running Apple have gone off the deep end, or their lawyers are technologically "challenged". Regardless, this continues to pain Apple as a bunch of half-brained ogres trying despirately to guard their silly little "treasure".
