Intel on the Ropes
Sorry for all of those who adhere to the Austrian Theory of the Business Cycle, there really are some real ways a company can squash their competition using underhanded tactics. "Anything goes" really doesn't work so well.
The "proof is in the pudding" ... Intel is facing a lawsuit in the USA (as they already faced in Europe). A close look at Intel's business practices shows a very clear history of bribing hardware manufacturers into abandoning competing CPU chips, and often downright resorting to threats.
Regardless of who you think has the better product, this is simply disgusting. If Intel really was so wonderful, then there would be no need to this sort of underhandedness.
