This is just a rant from me to "businessmen" who are stuck in the whole "frat-boy" mentality.

When dealing with your IT guys, there are a few things you need to be aware of:

• we run your business. You may think you're in control, but we have the power to cripple your business with a few clicks of a mouse. Just something to remember when you're being a dick.
• don't refer to minor bugs as "crap". We might think what you do is crap - how would you feel if we called your cars crap (or whatever product you happen to sell).
• nerds rule the world. You may think that because 20 years ago you could throw football that this makes you "the shits", but knowing how to throw a hunk of pig around two decades ago doesn't give you carte blanche to treat everyone else like trash.
• when you're an ass, it doesn't inspire us to do our best. "Hey, my computer is fucking slow - fix this crap!" Yeah, we're not going to put in our best effort, ass-clown.
